For my magazine i produced an editorial photo shoot and styling tip pages. This photo shoot would be for look magazine. The theme was country vintage taking inspiration from the past of lace, pale colours from Marie Antoinette and mixing this with country pieces to give a country feel as if gong out for a stroll in the countryside. I feel this photograph worked well as a opening image as it sums up my shoot. I positioned the photograph this way so that there would be space to write a title. I photoshoped the image changing the colour and contrast to make it feel warmer. I found directing the shoot difficult and thinking of positions and facial expressions. Getting the composition right was hard many off my photos just didn't work with lighting, pose, composition, location ( people walking past, bushes in the way).
I took all the photographs however when i come to do my shoot for my final professional project i hope to get a photographer as i feel they will be able to capture the image in a more professional way with lighting, composition.

For some of the pages i wanted to give an idea of what other garments and accessories would go with the country look a was trying to get across.

I got Tanya to do the hair and makeup, to help her i showed images of the sort of styles i wanted this was really useful tool to have. i will have a research folder ready for my final photo shoot to make it easier and get the best results possible.
I really enjoyed the shoot though it was long hours and hard work to get what i wanted. i learnt that being well prepared before hand is important to make the photo shoot run as smoothly as possible. I put all the different outfits into separate bags and took spare clothing, I also packed a kit of scissors, pins, clips in case garments didn't fit properly this did come in handy.
