Bexhill museum has recently been refurbished and extended. The main galleries include Costume and Motor Racing heritage as well as local archaeology and history, dinosaurs and fossils, natural history and geology, social history and cultures of other lands, local arts and crafts. Interactive displays and Access Centre for research.
The costume gallery had costumes from a range of historical eras showing the changing silhouette over time. Battle Abby school had there A Level textile dresses on display it was nice to see local creativity within the museum. Around the museum there were also interactive touch screen displays with more information and images which were easy to use and colourful making them eye catching to the audience.
It was good to see the museum again as I had not been since I was a lot younger. I thought the displays looked a lot better and the building had been done up well, and inside was a lot more spacious.
