Bexhill museum has recently been refurbished and extended. The main galleries include Costume and Motor Racing heritage as well as local archaeology and history, dinosaurs and fossils, natural history and geology, social history and cultures of other lands, local arts and crafts. Interactive displays and Access Centre for research.
The costume gallery had costumes from a range of historical eras showing the changing silhouette over time. Battle Abby school had there A Level textile dresses on display it was nice to see local creativity within the museum. Around the museum there were also interactive touch screen displays with more information and images which were easy to use and colourful making them eye catching to the audience.
It was good to see the museum again as I had not been since I was a lot younger. I thought the displays looked a lot better and the building had been done up well, and inside was a lot more spacious.

Then prepare myself to get a job by doing work experience or internships, and hopefully get a job in research of some sort, possibly for a magazine. (getting the images needed)

For the sin lust I have chosen the colour red. I have selected images that I feel represent this sin. These include images of red lips, red roses and women in raunchy underwear displaying sexual positions. Facial expressions that portray lustful looks and gazing eyes. For my shoot I may dress my model in red corsetry as this is very feminine and a desirable look by men. Props I may wish to include a feather bower for the model to pose with. The idea that she may be lusting after another man. The make up having exceedingly red lips possibly with diamantes on to enhance the effect.
For the sin gluttony I have chosen the colour pink. I have selected images of sweet sticky foods to show greed and excessive consumption of cake. The idea of being piggish and always wanting more. I have chosen images of women stuffing their face with food, drooling, and licking their lips. For my shoot I would like to buy a cake and have the model stuffing it in her face maybe with a pair of lace fingerless gloves.
For the sin sloth I have chosen the colours blue and white. Images that I feel represent this sin are of floaty fabrics and the idea of being away with the fairies in a day dream. Women laying down as if lazy an 'sloth like' The moon being mysterious and tranquil. The facial expression relaxed and a little gormless. The idea of being in her own little world and too lazy to do anything. For my shoot I would like to have a white feather bower and the model be snuggled into it, as if in a day dream.
Hear I have placed images that I feel represent the sin vanity. For this sin I have chosen the colour purple and pictures of women looking at themselves in mirrors. Images of women putting on makeup to show how they want to be beautiful. Facial expressions that express admiration for ones self. Pictures of makeup to enhance desired features like eyes and lips. For my shoot I would like to have a vanity mirror as a prop for the model to look into to represent this sin. The idea that she only cares about herself, and what she looks like rather than for a family, not the perfect housewife.
Hear I have placed images that I feel relate to the sin wrath. I have chosen the colours black and red to represent this sin giving a dark angry mood. Facial expressions of women screaming and looking angry, Ive chosen images like the devil pitch fork and and dark gothic makeup as these relate well to this sin. The idea that shes had an argument with possibly her husband and there marriage is not perfect.
